Data Processing and Postal Qualifications
As Canada Post Certified Partners, we understand that the most important aspect to you DM campaign is the accuracy of your data.
The Mailing House uses Canada Post certified postal software to update addresses, correct street names and postal codes to ensure that your mailing meets or exceeds Canada Post standards and as such entitles you to the BEST WHOLESALE POSTAGE RATES!
But that’s not where we stop! We update and correct your addresses to Upper and Lower case format and eliminate duplicate records based on your criteria. This process allows us to advise you of duplicate or incorrect data in your database which will save you thousands of dollars annually on incorrectly addressed or undeliverable mail.
Laser and Inkjet Imaging
Ink jet
We take personal information, such as name and address, bar code, numbers and text from your cleansed data file and print directly onto your mail piece (card, envelope or magazine) utilizing high speed ink jet technology. The result is high quality, fast, accurate and inexpensive personalization! This is the cost-effective way to go when you need to put out a simple addressed mail piece.
Laser Printing
Complex mail pieces like merged letters and matched components are printed as variable data laser printing. This allows for multiple personalization and versions of the mail piece in a single stream of print. We provide layout and setup services to help fully utilize the capability of variable data laser printing.
We can print one or two sides in a single pass and collate and staple multi-page documents. Digital laser printing is available in color or black ink to create highly effective personalized documents

With print on demand, we print EXACTLY what you need!
Rather than print and warehouse thousands of flyers or brochures that may quickly be out of date, we only print what you need NOW. No more waste or outdated materials.
Our Print On Demand service can reduce your cost by as much as 50%. In most cases, your printing can be completed and shipped the same day of your approval. The Mailing House will store your files for future use and print what you need when you need it. Whether its 100, 1000 or 10,000 prints, they are always available the very next business day.
Equipment:
Xerox Digital Press – Prints up to 6000 prints per hour
Ricoh 1106 with online Plokmatic booklet maker – prints up to 6600 prints per hour and can produce finished saddle stitched books while running!
Variable Data Printing:
Variable Data is how marketing teams can “target” consumers based on as many levels of criteria that matter most. The main reason for using variable data printing is its higher response rate versus traditional direct mail.
A non personalized direct mail piece may get a 2% response rate. When direct mail is personalized with variable data printing, the response rate can increase anywhere from two to 20 times that rate!
Variable data printing generates a greater response because it combines the power of client data with digital printing to produce customized marketing pieces.
Offset Printing:
Traditional Offset printing is used for larger print runs where information is static. We can print everything from stickers to full color brochures.

Folding
Our high speed folders can perform many standard folding patterns such as letter-fold, half fold or z-fold or other more complex folds as well. Tell us what you need and we can fold your printed matter for you.
Cutter
The Mailing House has a hydraulic commercial paper cutter for trimming print and or mail components to exact sizes.
Kitting & Direct Mail Fulfillment
Do you have samples, marketing material, or products to warehouse and ship, but no time or space to do it yourself?
Lettershop: Inserting, Tabbing, Poly-bagging
Inserting
Our inserting machines can insert up to 6 mail pieces into an open-sided envelopes (max size: 5¾ x 9½). Our oversized Mastermailer is capable of inserting up to 6 mail pieces into open-sided envelopes (max size: 10x13).
Tabbing (wafer sealing)
Our high speed tabbing machines are capable of applying one or two tabs in one pass. This process can be combined with our ink jet printing device, allowing us to simultaneously ink jet and tab your mail pieces in one pass.
Poly Bagging
Poly bags are a good alternative to envelopes. TMH has a semi-automatic Mail-Bagger machine that can apply and seal a poly bag to the size of the particular mail component. This method is highly effective and is acceptable for Canadian, USA and International mail.
Match Mailing
In this scenario, you would personalize your letters with the recipients first and last name - matching the addressing on the envelope. This “match” dramatically increases the trust associated with the letter.
